Walk-ins: Monday-Friday, from 8am to 4:00pm
Responsible to package and know the product and weight of each tortilla produced. Also, identify the box and bag in which it will be packed.
Responsible to meeting productivity goals of the position.
Responsible for knowing how to program the date machine (of bags and boxes) for different products produced during the day.
Must work in different positions within the department. There will be a continuous rotation of the press area, packaging tortillas, boxing tortillas, lifting boxes up to 30 lbs.
Must put the required molds in place when product is changed.
Have continuous communication with the leader and machine operators when there are problems with the product, raw or overcooked tortillas, light or heavy tortilla weight, small or oversize tortilla.
When the line stops for whatever reason, employee should move to other lines, help co-workers or clean other lines.
Should always have your area ready at the start of the shift in reference to bags and boxes that will be used during the day.
Maintain your area clean and organized at all times. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
Everyone that does any type of cleaning must wash their hands and use hand sanitizer.
Communicate well with your co-workers at all times in order to prevent problems and communicate with your leader.
You should have a clean smock prior to start working.
When there is a problem with the equipment, communicate it immediately to the leader or supervisor
Responsible for preparing the batch using the appropriate recipe.
Responsible for preparing the proper dough.
Responsible for ensuring that all mixes meet acceptable quality standards.
Responsible for meeting yield standards on the mix.
Responsible for not exceeding waste standards.
Responsible for following and promoting Aranda’s safety program, policy and procedures
Responsible for following and promoting Aranda’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
Responsible for ensuring that equipment is being properly cleaned and sanitized.
Responsible for reporting any deficiencies to the department Supervisor.
Responsible for maintaining area clean, safe and organized at all times.
Responsible for communicating constantly with the machine operator
Responsible for reporting equipment malfunctions. Verify that the equipment is maintained in top operating condition. Verify that the preventive maintenance program is effective and meets Production’s needs.
Responsible for recording and document the data into the required reports (mixing, temperatures, etc)
Responsible for following Company rules, policy and procedures.
Responsible for working in a manner that is proactive in resolving problems.
Responsible for promoting teamwork at all levels.
